At 23, he prepares to vie in the Men’s Saber category at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, participating in both individual and team competitions.

Mitchel Saron is also a student of Economics and Finance at the prestigious Harvard University.

Saron’s fencing prowess isn’t a recent development; he boasts an impressive track record dating back to his early years. Starting at the Bergen Fencing Club and later excelling at the New York Athletic Club under coaches Oleg Stetsiv and Andrew Stetsiv, Saron’s dedication and talent were evident.

His achievements at Harvard include winning the Ivy League Championship and attaining NCAA First Team All-American status.

Saron’s journey isn’t confined to sports; he’s also made strides in finance, with stints at Guggenheim, Moody’s, and in venture capital.

But there’s more to Saron’s story.

His athletic achievements, including two gold medals at the Team Junior Pan American Championships and a Senior National Championship title, are remarkable. Yet, he’s not just about sports, with an above-average SAT score.

Saron embodies the typical Asian trait of excelling both athletically and academically. As he gears up to represent the USA at the Olympics, Saron continues to be an example of how mental and physical discipline is a recipe for success.
