Fibroblast Growth Factor: The science behind Laminine
In 1929, John R. Davidson discovered an extract from fertilized avian eggs. He used this extract to restore the health of his patients. Five decades later, Norway’s foremost egg expert researcher, Dr. Bjoedne Eskeland, worked on this research.
Considered the father of Young Tissue Extract (YTE), Dr. Eskeland dedicated his life to harnessing this peptide. As a result, Laminine ingredients boast the finest and most potent ingredients.
Fertilized Avian Egg Extract
Laminine contains Fertilized Avian Egg Extract (FAEE), whose active ingredient is the Fibroblast Growth Factor or FGF. This protein molecule is extracted from fertilized eggs on the ninth day of incubation, the peak of its potency.
FGF is a family of cell-signaling proteins involved in tissue organ development and acts as systemic circulating molecules of extracellular origin that activate cell surface receptors.
FGFs are well-studied signaling molecules that affect the cellular matrix on the DNA level
It is ubiquitous in a youthful body but dissipates as we grow older. Interestingly, FGF is released locally upon injury or tissue remodeling.[1] There are 23 FGFs, and Laminine has FGF2, which is critical in stem cell treatments.
In a recent study, Laminin FAEE demonstrated its effect on telomerase activity
Our chromosome’s telomere becomes shorter as we age. A Critically Short Telomere (CST) is linked to arthritis joint pain. In the study, patients with joint pain took Laminine for four weeks.
It increased telomerase activity, aiding joint pain. An increased telomerase activity reverses cellular aging in your joints by lengthening your telomeres.

Significance in humans
FGF is necessary for the “full development” of an embryo. When ingested by humans, FGF works as a signaling protein molecule that tells the body to maintain and repair damaged or aging cells.
Fibroblast Growth Factors direct stem cells in the body. These peptides appropriate themselves based on what the signaling protein (FGF) is leading it to do.
Laminine contains FGF-2
FGF is a family of growth factors. There are 22 members of the FGF family in humans that are all “signaling molecules.” Combined with two other ingredients, Laminine forms the perfect supplement that helps the body attain homeostasis.
Evaporative cooling method
In order to extract the most potent level of FGF, LifePharm uses a proprietary “evaporative cooling method” that preserves potency.
TECHNICAL DATA: In earlier studies, scientists found minimal gain in the first 9-10 days (7.5%), and then a sharp increase (1190% by day 23), suggesting rapid development of a body. The potency of the nutrients available to the fertilized avian egg at this stage has always been high. During the blastodermal to protoembryonic stages of embryogenesis, oligopeptides with molecular weights from 0.5 to 1.0 kD identified (Oligopeptides are compounds which have 2 to 20 amino acids joined by a peptide bond). These short chains of amino acids can cross the digestive barrier without breaking down or changing the ratios and proportions. Peptides are far more potent than other neurotransmitters, requiring only small amounts to produce a profound effect. (SOURCE: PDR.net)
