As FB goes Meta—Parler could be the new Facebook social media app

The supposedly “free speech” alternative to Facebook and Twitter, Parler is back online after being forced offline. The company was accused of promoting “right-wing” groups in support of former President Trump—in the wake of the January 6 Capitol attack.

Users sought refuge from the perceived conservative censorship of Facebook and Twitter. However, Parler’s reach plummeted after Big Tech deplatformed the app.
