2020 October, State Sen. Scott Wiener pushes for “Safe Injection Sites.” He’s planning to reintroduce legislation to legalize drug users to “safely” consume in the presence of medical professionals equipped with the medication naloxone to prevent overdoses.
2020 September, the Santa Barbara School District unanimously approved the “Teen Talk sexuality education curriculum.” The “sex-ed program” for eighth-graders will be taught sex acts and abortion.
2018 February, California’s AB2943 Law proposes to penalize anyone who speaks against the LGBTQ community. It will reinforce the move to remove pronouns and ban the Bible because it is against the LGBTQ lifestyle.
2016 April, Sacramento Bill 1146 targets Christian schools that maintain Biblical beliefs on marriage and sexuality and use the threat of losing government funds to force them to change those beliefs. After conservative groups opposed it, lawmakers agreed to amend it.
